Break Up With Plastic

is a social media campaign to increase awareness about plastic
pollution in Myanmar and provide education about ways to reduce
single-use plastic products.

We collaborated with local environmental
groups such as Beat Plastic and Thant Myanmar as well as large
companies including Carlsberg Myanmar and City Mart.

We believe that through social media and communication with Myanmar youth, we can make positive change by creating a sustainable consumer culture.

We combined our understanding of environmental issues in Myanmar and social media behavior of local consumer populations to help people undestand the effects of plastic consumption and the importance of reducing plastic use.
